Collected and Curated Living Room

This radiant living room celebrates the joy of personal expression through layers of story, texture, and soul. Designed as a vibrant conversation between past and present, the space features a dynamic mix of global patterns, antique silhouettes, and contemporary art with each element curated to reflect the homeowner's love of color, history, and meaningful living.

For this redesign, SDS Designs reimagined the space plan to intentionally shape zones of social connection honoring this large family’s needs for both everyday gathering and joyful hosting. We sourced new furnishings and fabrics to enhance the sensory experience, layering upholstered pieces with tactile softness, visual warmth, and emotional depth.

We selected the bold emerald wall color to anchor the space and revitalized the gallery wall to serve as both an expressive focal point and a conversation starter. Vintage chairs, zebra-print accents, and hand-carved details mingle with modern silhouettes, creating a design that honors heritage while embracing individuality.

Natural light floods the room through oversized windows, deepening the connection to nature. In true SDS Designs style, the space embodies wellness by blending aesthetic richness with function and comfort, inviting not only visual delight, but emotional resonance, curiosity, and calm.

This is a space meant to be lived in, loved in, and remembered.
