Design for Restoration, Connection, and Joy

Nestled beneath a canopy of green, this upper-level carriage house was imagined as a whimsical retreat filled with wellness. A place where nature meets nostalgia. Every surface was intentionally wrapped in verdant botanical prints to create a sense of immersion and refuge, while natural wood, plush textiles, and saturated earthy tones ground the experience in warmth and comfort.

This project exemplifies SDS Designs’ commitment to emotional richness, sensory engagement, and connection to the natural world. Tucked under sloped ceilings, thoughtful design strategies like layered rugs, playful swings, and organic textures help soften edges and spark curiosity, creating a space that nurtures both rest and creativity.

Here, guests are invited to slow down, breathe deep, and rediscover delight.
